Plating Anodes and Anode Materials
Standard SIFCO Process® anodes are made to prepare or to plate ID’s, OD’s and flat surfaces.  Each standard anode must be attached to a handle.  This combined unit is called either a preparatory tool (for preparatory operations) or a plating tool (for plating operations).  Direct current is supplied to the tool from the power pack, through a lead. For ID and flat surfaces using a #75 handle.

SIFCO ASC’s Platinized Titanium Anodes, Graphite and Platinum-Clad niobium anodes can be fabricated to meet your specific needs. All our graphite anodes are prepared from high-purity graphite having less than 20 ppm iron. Due to its excellent chemical resistance and electrical conductivity, PT plating anodes are ideal for the automotive and electrical industries. For Internal Diameters or Flat Surfaces. ID Plating Anodes can be used with #75 Handle or #150 Handle with or without Flow

All of SIFCO ASC’s ID plating anodes are prepared from high-purity graphite, with less than 20 ppm iron. Our Inside Diameter anodes are commonly used in the automotive, electric motor and mining industries. Ideal for pumps, cylinders and couplings, a range of deposits can be used. OD Plating Anodes

For Outside Diameter surfaces using a #75 or #150 handle with or without flow.

Our OD plating anodes are made from high-purity graphite and have less than 20 ppm iron. Ideal for plating pumps, motors, valves and rolls. SIFCO ASC’s Outside Diameter anodes allows selective plating to a localized area without excessive masking. Please contact our Technical Service Department for more information.

For Flat and OD surfaces using a #75 or #150 handle with or without flow.

SIFCO ASC’s FT plating anodes are ideal for plating on flat surfaces. All graphite anodes are prepared from high-purity graphite having less than 20 ppm iron. Our flat plating anodes can be used on casings, electrical bus connecters and housings and cabinets. Please contact our Technical Service Department for more information.
